How do i turn auto complete on for Motorola Droid?

Wow- someone is really gonna waste an answer by saying idk..? What a .. Ha.. anyways.. I use swype on my phone but the droid does give you suggestions once you start typing, and to select the currently highlighted suggestion, you just hit space
