Good strategy for Smoke against Shao Kahn?

I've unlocked the majority of the fighters' endings, but am having great difficulty in defeating Shao Kahn using Smoke (mostly because he has no damaging projectile attacks). Does anyone have a strategy that makes using Smoke to defeat Shao Kahn a little easier? (Obviously, this is for the new MK.)
