Another sims 2 question?

okay well im getting sims 2 double delux that includes sims 2, nightlife and some kind of extra clothes thing. im also getting an extra expantion seasons to be exact and im buying them at game stop, is that the best place to buy them, cuz its close and they guranteed it will work, because i bought sims 2 d.d at best buy and it installed to lke 64 percent and it said their was an error. so i decided to buy them from game stop because alot of other yahoo'ers said to buy it their so is this all a good idea THANKS LOVE ALL OF YOU <3
